In March all the new windows were installed and the new lighting was ordered, we found some unusual and unique pieces and we can’t wait till it is all done!
In April we began the siding and also finished most of the wiring! The outside was complete by the 4th and now we get to tackle the inside! Late April we ordered all seating and tables, expected delivery is May 21st.
June we are now working on the bar in the new addition. 13th and the new counter top is being picked up, along with some speakers, John’s getting an itch for some music! We are very pleased with the “reclaimed” barn wood we used on the face of the bar.
Opie’s Heavy Metal is fabricating a new beer tower dispenser. With Opie and John’s wild imagination, I’m excited to see what he and John came up with. Air Conditioning hooked up and working in the new addition too.
End of June and we started working on the pergola. All the posts are in, thanks to Rigge Construction helping. I recommend them highly. LOL, although I may be a little biased. For the bird watchers, I’ve seen several bluebirds lately. Wildflowers are in bloom. Piper brought us a beautiful bouquet. The wild phlox remind me of my childhood. Wayne says the frogs are so loud, you would think they are 3ft tall.
The Minnesota River Valley is so beautiful we hope you can experience it with us. If you are a star gazer, NO city lights. They are brilliant out here. Very romantic!
